Arcane Lineage Tier List

If you've wiped once or a hundred times in Arcane Lineage, you already know the pain of picking the wrong class. You can't change it later. That first choice follows you for the entire playthrough.

That's why you need a solid Arcane Lineage tier list before you commit.

I've tested every class across multiple wipes—solo runs, party dungeons, endgame farming. This tier list ranks all 5 Base Classes, all 15 Super Classes, and all 3 Sub Classes based on what actually works in April 2025.

Here's the short version: Warrior is the best Base Class. Dark Wraith, Berserker, Necromancer, and Saint are the S-tier Super Classes. And Bard is your best bet for Sub Classes.

Before we get into the rankings, let's be clear about how Arcane Lineage classes work.

You start with a Base Class at level 5. There are five: Warrior, Slayer, Martial Artist, Wizard, and Thief. Your Base Class decides your weapon and gives you two basic skills.

At level 15, you evolve into a Super Class. Each Base Class has three Super Class branches: Neutral (balanced, no alignment needed, costs more gold), Orderly (healing/buffs, requires Order alignment), and Chaotic (damage/debuffs, requires Chaos alignment). Your Super Class is your real combat identity.

Finally, Sub Classes are add-ons you can grab regardless of your main class. They add utility like out-of-combat healing, enemy scanning, or potion crafting.

This Arcane Lineage tier list ranks all three tiers separately. A class is ranked higher if it's self-sufficient, works in both solo and group content, and doesn't require perfect gear or mastery tree perks to function.
